Tuesday: Cutaways (Ireland), Lonely Ghosts, ONO Palindromes

Flyer

FaceBook/info here:- http://bit.ly/offset004

Cutaways (Ireland)

http://www.myspace.com/cutaways
Synth-driven indiepop from Belfast, bringing over rave reviews from Artrocker and Radio 1’s Colin Murray – “merging infectious indie pop-rock with pounding synth soundscapes and boy/girl harmonies.” – Fame Magazine

Lonely Ghosts
http://www.myspace.com/lonelyghosts
Tom Denney (ex-Help She Can’t Swim) has returned with an album of DIY bedroom pop, but live the Lonely Ghosts morph into a show that regains the punky spirit of HSCS and reaches the dizzying pop heights of the likes of Bis and The Postal Service.

ONO Palindromes
http://www.myspace.com/weareallyoungsensations
Exeter fivesome ONO Palindromes play art-pop of the highest calibre – John Lydon delivery mixed with sugar-sweet female backing. “This is totally off the wall, energetic punk-pop with intelligent composition and some brilliant punchy vocals.” – Contact Music

Offset Festival returns this summer and launches new weekly club night!

21

Yes! After a fantastic first year (if we say so ourselves!) Offset Festival returns to the beautiful Hainault Forest Country Park on September 5-6th 2009.

The event will continue to join the dots between cutting-edge new bands and their influences; with 8 stages, 200 artists and a line-up that offers a compelling alternative to any other UK festival.

Last year’s event brought together the likes of The Maccabees, Gang of Four, Wire, Metronomy, Little Boots, Black Devil Disco Club, Chrome Hoof, Young Knives and Future of the Left, all for just £45 for a full weekend.

Offset 2009 promises a return to the
