No Age are up for a Grammy


Sub Pop noise makers No Age are perhaps the strangest nomination of this years Grammy awards. Up against Metallica, a Christian band called Hawk Nelson and some band called The Ditty Bops (big in America, apparently).

Yep, OK so Nouns isn’t up for Record of the Year, it’s up for "best recording package" which is still pretty sweet.

August 18th sees the release of the very sexy ‘New Video Works’, over two hours of live footage music videos from the best underground L.A. bands around right now. As well as those nasty people in the headline, the set includes tracks from Abe Vigoda, High Places, Mika Miko, Abe Vigoda, Lucky Dragons, Soft Circle, BARR, Finally Punk, and more. It’s out on No Agers’ Dean Spunt’s label, Post Present Medium, and Amazon UK are taking pre-orders right here.
