The Horrors premiered the first track from their new album last night, with a performance you can catch right now at http://www.thehorrors.co.uk

We’ve heard the album and it’s utterly fantastic, with a huge change of direction that touches on My Bloody Valentine, Neu!, Jesus and Mary Chain, Killing Joke and Echo and the Bunnymen.

Fancy hearing the final track from the album? You can now download the track Sea Within A Sea by visiting this link, clicking on The Horrors’ logo and signing up for the mailing list – once you confirm, the link will arrive in your inbox. It’s worth the effort.

Excellent-! I finally got around to digging their music after they covered Suicide’s “Shadazz”, I’m definitely looking forward to the new album.

I can’t get enough of it. It’s a very mature change which I am really into. If the rest of the album sounds as good as this, I will not be disappointed in the least.

It’s really good. Best thing they’ve done since ‘Sheena is a Parasite’

I was sceptical, but this really is very good, and a very promising change in direction.
